After announcing Thursday that they would be pulling out of the show, Volvo says it will be staying at the CONEXPO in Las Vegas this week.

On Thursday the company announced its construction equipment arm would be pulling out of the show because of the outbreak of COVID-19. But Friday Volvo Construction Equipment said it was too late in the game to physically withdraw its presence.

“At this point in preparations it would not be possible for Volvo CE to remove the equipment and dismantle the booth before the show begins,” Volvo CE said in a statement. “Instead, a small number of locally hired independent staff will remain on the site for the duration of the show.”
